At a time when modern superhero flicks are raking in money hand over fist, it seems that making more Westerns—stories which easily lend themselves to the same tropes we see in the superhero genre—would be a no brainer.

Avengers didn’t disappoint.  I had a big dumb grin on my face the entire time.  Whedon delivered on the snappy, yet honest, banter he’s known for.  The quite character moments made the spectacle moments even more spectacular.  The Hulk and Tony Stark had, by mere inches, the best character moments; however, all in all, Whedon was able to take a dramatis personae of seven characters and make each of them feel like protagonists.

Cindy and I got our Spring on by planting flowers and vegetables yesterday.  We spent more money than we planned, especially when it came to the potting soil.  We bought stuff that was a bit fluffier than most potting soils (something that, I assume, helps drainage).  The soil also came with gobs of fertilizer mixed in.  At 15 bucks a bag, one could literally say that was some expensive shit.
