I recently came across a CNN article by Allison Gilbert titled “The case of the breastfeeding professor” which you can find here. Adrienne Pine, an American University Professor, caused an uproar when she breastfed her baby in class.  The article doesn’t state what the details were: we don’t know if she covered her chest, we don’t know if she did the pull down or the pull up, and we don’t know if she gave the class any sort of warning before she did it. In response to the incident, Pine states she is “annoyed that this would be considered newsworthy” and she didn’t intend to shock students.

Really?

I can understand someone thinking that this should be controversial.  I can understand someone thinking that this shouldn’t be controversial.  What I don’t understand is anybody being surprised by other people thinking this is controversial.

I’m so freaking excited about the Dark Knight Returns animated flick coming out this month that I did something I never do: I ordered the Blu-ray before even seeing the movie.  The movie could be bad … but it can’t be any worse than DK2.

For those that haven’t seen the trailer yet, first ask yourself why–then proceed to here.
